Mentor Studio Grok chat authors the scenario · Grok Imagine paints the 360 plate

Create workplace scene

Generate any workplace with Grok Imagine

Yes — Mentor Studio uses your xAI key on the server: Grok chat writes the four-phase scenario (briefs, PPE checklist, yaw/pitch hotspots, KM/PM tags), then Grok Imagine renders an equirectangular 360 plate for phone look-around / Quest WebXR. Site phone footage stays phone_180; AI plates are labelled optional_360 / synthetic.

How it works

  1. Pick a workplace template (or write your own brief).
  2. Keep Generate equirect plate via Grok Imagine checked. Credits live on console.x.ai for the team that owns the server API key — not an app “token” field.
  3. Tap Generate scene — wait for chat + Imagine (often 30–90s).
  4. Open the player (or Quest VR) and walk Induct → Prove.

With 2+ viewpoints, Imagine creates multiple 360 plates and green MOVE portals so workers teleport between places (not only turn in place).

Brief recipe (any workplace)

Paste this pattern and fill the blanks — works for construction, clinics, farms, workshops, offices, warehouses, hospitality, mining, retail, logistics, labs…

Workplace: [sector + specific room/site]
Country / region: South Africa (or name locality)
Host: [employer / co-op / municipality]
Occupation / SAQA (if known): [e.g. 101869 Project Facilities Manager]
Hazards / quality points to pin in 360: [3–6 concrete pins]
PPE / entry rules: […]
Modules to tag: [KM-… / PM-… / WM-… / US-…]
Tone: workers, not learners; stipend on productive attempts
Visual: photoreal equirectangular 360 workplace panorama, seamless wrap, no text/UI/watermark

Tip: name what the worker must see (edge protection, isolations board, sterile field, cold-room gauge). Vague briefs make vague plates.
